TYPE 2 DOT TURBIDITY CURTAIN

Suitable for mild currents, waves, and wind the Type 2 DOT Turbidity Curtain is designed for rapid deployment, fast storage and handling. It is also appropriate for most regulated applications. Type 2 DOT barrier is offered with impermeable and permeable options.

Type 2 DOT Turbidity Curtain is equipped with a tension cable under the flotation and aluminum joint connectors with anchor points to anchor the curtain in flow.

Type 2 DOT barrier is specifically designed for in-water control of silt and turbidity around dredging activities, pile driving rip-rap installation, and demolition work. The economical design makes it a contractor’s project favorite for moving water and waves typically found in inter-coastal waterways, estuaries, and rivers.
